ABOUT THE PREGNANCY YOGA CLASSES
Pregnancy Yoga classes provide women with a safe environment in which to explore their feelings and to adapt to the changes in their bodies. Yoga can provide a constant threat of stability. The principles of yoga include balance, awareness and respect. Women are empowered to feel confident in their ability to give birth. Yoga postures and movements will provide more space for the baby and alleviate many pregnancy discomforts. Every class ends with a deep relaxation allowing the body to release tensions and the mind to become still. Both mother and baby are nourished and energy is renewed.
It is recommended to join from 13 weeks onward (not mandatory - you can start as soon as you want if you are experiencing a healthy pregnancy) and you can continue until the birth of your baby.

WHAT THE CLASSES COVER
Classes will help you enjoy your pregnancy. Pregnancy Yoga classes will be 75 minutes long and include yoga sequences specifically adapted for pregnancy and movements to alleviate discomforts and renew energy. Breathing techniques and relaxation skills are taught and there is time for discussion in a relaxed and friendly environment. Gentle stretches to maintain energy and deep relaxation to help you to calm and release stress

If you give birth before the end of the course, you can still sign-up for the whole course and use all the remaining classes in a future Postnatal or Baby Yoga course after you give birth.
In case of sickness/health issues, if you signed-up for the whole course, you can also compensate up to 2 classes in a future Pregnancy, Postnatal or Baby Yoga course.

ABOUT THE BABY YOGA COURSE
Baby yoga classes from newborn to toddler create a warm and friendly atmosphere, promoting enjoyment and confidence in the handling of babies and in ways of relating to our children. Babies have open hearts and minds and are ready to embrace new experiences. The shared experience for both parent and baby encourages early bonding and creates a secure and happy foundation of well-being. The development of mutual respect and understanding and the expression of pleasure and delight is witnessed.
Baby yoga provides the stimulation of touch, movement and rhythm, as well as the benefits of deep relaxation. The series of sequences encourage flexibility and bring balance and harmony to the body systems. Each movement supports the baby's individual development, strengthening the physical body and maintaining flexibility. Tactile stimulation contributes to the development of the brain and the nervous system.
Baby yoga can help to settle babies and to improve sleep patterns. The movements and massage will aid digestion and give relief to colicky babies. Yoga will promote normal healthy growth preventing many problems from occurring.

WHAT THE BABY YOGA COURSE COVERS
Baby yoga course is run in 6, 8 or 10-week sessions for newborn to mobile babies. Classes are 75 minutes long and include baby yoga and massage for overall strengthening and development. There is a balance of stretching and relaxing sequences. Songs and rhymes are co coordinated with some of the movements. Postnatal yoga is included for Mums and each class finishes with a joint relaxation for parent and baby.
Dads are very welcome too and will benefit equally from the yoga and the interaction with their baby. There is time for discussion and to make new friendships. Many parents and babies meet afterwards in the cafe for coffee or lunch. A wonderful opportunity to find the support you may need through the first months and to have some fun with your baby too!

ABOUT THE POSTNATAL YOGA COURSE
Postnatal Yoga is a wonderful class focused on exercises for postnatal recovery of the mother. Suitable from 4 weeks after birth, this class provides an opportunity for Mums to do something for themselves! The babies watch, sleep, feed, play together or get involved in some of the exercises.
Particular attention is paid to toning and strengthening the pelvic floor and abdominals.
Muscle tension arising from feeding or carrying babies is alleviated by specific stretches which release and open the back and shoulders.Spinal and pelvic alignment exercises help improve posture and ease lots of the common aches and pains of new mums.
Starting gently, we gradually build up to develop more strength, stamina and flexibility as the weeks go by.
Postnatal yoga classes are very relaxed and flexible themselves, and babies often have their own ideas, so we adapt things to meet everybody’s needs.
