Do you have to wear a turban when you practice kundalini yoga?
No. So Why do some people wear turbans when they practice kundalini yoga?
Because the turban protects you, it serves as a filter, and it helps you to tune in to the frequencies that you want to receive.
Also, the turban adjusts the bones of your skull, and putting on a turban is like crowning yourself. It's not just covering your head, it's a very strong symbol that puts you into the role of a yogi, a raj yogi, a royal yogi, into the role of a teacher, one that is committed to sharing and transmitting the teachings.
That is why you can choose to wear a turban. But sometimes also, a head cover does it pretty well.
